Casefinding OnDemand: Try Before You Buy
Abstract
Many cancer programs operate with disconnected systems that slow down workflows and create unnecessary risk. When case identification and reporting are separated by manual handoffs, it leads to persistent backlogs and missed revenue. This session will move past AI as a concept to show how a single, integrated platform handles the entire oncology data lifecycle to improve compliance and patient retention.
Join Biff Curtis, VP of Sales at Inspirata, and Connie Boone, Manager of Clinical Data Management at Prisma Health and NCRA Professional Development Board Director, for a practical look at modernizing oncology operations. We will discuss the shift from fragmented, manual processes to a single AI-powered solution that automates case capture and abstraction. The discussion will focus on real-world impact—showing how real-time data access allows programs to catch more cases faster while maintaining audit readiness.
We will also address the practical side of technology adoption. For many registry managers, the fear of "black box" automation is a significant barrier. We will explain how to validate AI solutions against your own data to ensure quality and trust. Attendees will see how improving the speed and completeness of the registry directly influences patient retention and supports overall program growth.
Additionally, we will provide an overview of the latest developments from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) regarding professional development and the evolving role of the Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) in an automated environment. Whether your system is currently struggling with staffing shortages or compliance pressure, this webinar provides a roadmap for using a unified platform to drive measurable operational and financial results.
